According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, during 11 months of the current year the country imported nearly 604.9 thsd tonnes of grains, an increase of 20.6% compared with the same period last year.
As for the imports of flour in the reporting period, the index totaled 144.8 thsd tonnes, down 18.7% compared with the 2013 level.
The average price of wheat totaled 299 USD/t, flour - 411 USD/t.
