Due to the heavy snowfalls, work of a number of sea ports of Ukraine became limited, declared the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine on December 29.
Due to bad weather conditions the sea ports of Bilhorod-Dnistrovsk, Berdyansk, Izmail, Illichivsk, Odessa, Oktyabrsk, Ust-Dunaysk, Kherson and Yuzhny work with limitation of mooring and loading operations, according to the announcement.
In addition, the channels of Bystroye Canal, Bugsko-Dneprovsko-Limasky and Kherson Sea Canals are closed for ship traffic.
At the same time, the Mariupol, Nikolaev, Reni and Skadovsky ports are operating as usual.
