The Ukrainian Agrarian Council appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatshenyuk, the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Aleksey Pavlenko not to mobilize the farmers due to the spring planting campaign starting in one and half – two months.
Thus, in order to provide the food security, the Ukrainian Agrarian Council appeals not to call into service the agronomists, mechanizers, livestock specialists, veterinarians being directly involved in the agricultural production.
Note, since January 20, 2015 in Ukraine there has being started the fourth wave of mobilization including the agricultural commodities and food producers being obligated for military service.
