To date the Government of Russia considers imposition of the export duties on barley, maize and rye as quite prematurely, but the final decision on the issue has not been accepted yet, declared Arkady Dvorkovich, Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, on February 25.
According to him, in the first days of March, after the authorities get the final indices on grain exports in February 2015, the Government will discuss the issue again, and make the reporting decision.
As a reminder, on February 20 Igor Artemiev, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, proposed to review the feasibility of imposition of the customs duties on exports of the reporting grains from Russia.
