Ukraine plans to increase agricultural commodity exports to the People`s Republic of China, said Oleksiy Pavlenko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on February 25.
According to him, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is ready to offer a number of investment projects on infrastructure objects, elevators, irrigation system, working capital, etc. at the sum of 8 bln USD to the Chinese party. The working group of the Ministry will travel to China on March 14, to hold the reporting negotiations.
He said that to date Ukraine continues realizing the existing contract for the supply of food to China, and plans to double the export volumes of maize to the country.
