The Agrarian Fund plans to peg the end-user prices for grains on forward contracts to foreign currency exchange rates, declared Andrei Radchenko, Acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC Agrarian Fund, on March 4.

According to him, the current purchasing price of milling wheat at 2500 UAH/t is unfair. Formation of the purchasing price depending on the wheat prices on foreign markets and the USD exchange rates, will be more fair. The real price is much higher to date. According to the expert opinions, which are based on analytical data of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and domestic traders, the settlement price of wheat totals 190-200 USD/t, A.Radchenko said.

The Fund increased the settlement price on forward contracts to 5000 UAH/t, 5200-5300 UAH/t for 3- and 2-grade wheat respectively, added A.Radchenko.
