Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of March 5, Ukraine exported 24.832 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat exports totaled 9.367 mln tonnes, barley – 3.872 mln tonnes, maize – 11.337 mln tonnes, other grains – 256 thsd tonnes.
According to the announcement, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 195 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 25.027 mln tonnes (including 9.4 mln tonnes of wheat, 3.872 mln tonnes of barley, 11.499 mln tonnes of maize).
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the bid prices on the domestic market varied depending on the region: 3-grade wheat – 3300-5100 UAH/t, 6-grade feed wheat – 2870-4750 UAH/t.
