In the Crimea (Sevastopol) there was created the branch of the All-Russian Center for Plant Quarantine.

It is reported that the centre is in the Rosselkhoznadzor system and will research and identify the pests, anticrop agents and weedage spread hotspots. The center has a mobile laboratory for carrying-out of the analysis in outlying regions.

The Head of the Council of Ministers of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov addressed to the branch administration with a proposal to reduce the services cost compared to the prices in other regions of the Russian Federation.

According to the Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Sergey Dankvert, the center was reconstructed in almost a year with the investments of nearly 100 mln RUR.
