Despite decreasing of the production volumes of wheat bran, during 8 months of 2014/15 MY Ukraine increased the exports of the reporting commodity. So, in the specified period Ukraine exported 356 thsd tonnes of wheat bran, up 36% compared with the same period of 2013/14 MY.
According to APK-Inform analysts, reduction of grain harvest in Turkey, which is the main importer of Ukrainian wheat bran, contributed to development of the current situation. In July-January period, Turkey purchased more than 285 thsd tonnes of wheat bran from Ukraine (up 70%).
