As of April 17, 2015, Belarusian agricultural organizations provided the planting campaign of early spring grains and pulses throughout the areas of 848.8 thsd ha or 88.5% of the plan, spring rapeseed– 5 thsd ha (7.9%), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.
Belarus plans to replant lost winter grain areas with spring crops throughout 49.2 thsd ha, winter rapeseed - 151 thsd ha. As of reporting date, agrarians provides such works throughout 18.91 thsd ha (41.5% of the planned areas) and 28.4 thsd ha (14.9%), respectively.
Also, agrarians already prepared the soil for planting works throughout 1.572 mln ha (65%). Belarusian agrarians provided first additional fertilizing of winter grain areas throughout 1.345 mln ha (99.2%), winter rapeseed – 181.6 thsd ha (92.6%).
