On May 12, 2015, Russia held the regular stock exchange trading within frames of public grain purchasing interventions, and purchased 36.585 thsd tonnes of wheat of the harvest-2014 (from the general proposed volume of 94.635 thsd tonnes) at the sum of 362.947 mln RUR, declared the press-service of National Mercantile Exchange CJSC.

In particular, the fund purchased 29.16 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat (from the proposed volume of 82.215 thsd tonnes), 4.995 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat (whole proposed volume), and 2.43 thsd tonnes of 5-grade wheat (from the proposed volume of 7.425 thsd tonnes). At the same time, the fund purchased 27.81 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat volumes at the site of Volgograd oblast.

The trades on feed barley and milling rye were canceled.

The weighted average prices of the grains sold to the intervention fund were as follows:

- 3-grade wheat – 9909.1 RUR/t;

- 4-grade wheat – 8660.5 RUR/t;

- 5-grade wheat – 8331 RUR/t;

- 1-grade rye – 5055.6 RUR/t;

- feed barley – 5148.8 RUR/t.

Since the beginning of the stock exchange trading (September 30, 2013) the intervention fund already purchased 820.24 thsd tonnes of grains at the general sum of 6.754 bln RUR.
