According to oblast agricultural departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as of May 13, Kazakh agrarians planted spring grains throughout the areas of 681.1 thsd ha, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Also, Kazakhstan planted oilseeds throughout 527 thsd ha. Four oblasts of the country continued planting corn for grain, and the planted areas already reached 75.5 thsd ha.
Agrarians of Kyzylorda oblast planted rice throughout 41.8 thsd ha, or 54.8% of the planned areas in the region.
Agrarians realized secondary tillage works in 12 oblasts of Kazakhstan, which were realized throughout 2.479 mln ha.
