The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation will prepare the updated list of food products subject to the import ban, informed a source from the Ministry on June 23.
According to him, the Ministry still continues developing the reporting document, which will soon be submitted to the Government.
Also, the Ministry representative confirmed the previously announced information that the document includes some items on toughening of the requirements for imports of certain categories of food products to Russia.
At the same time, Alexander Tkachev, Minister of Agriculture, noted that the officials do not plan to significantly increase the list of such food products. According to him, the current list of banned products already includes all required items.
