As of July 2, Russian agrarians harvested grain crops and pulses throughout the areas of 542 thsd ha (in 2014 – 1.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 2.1 mln tonnes (in 2014 – 5 mln tonnes), with the average yield of 3.9 t/ha (3.78 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, Krasnodar Krai produced 871.1 thsd tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 5.78 t/ha, and Stavropol Krai harvested 831.4 thsd tonnes of grains, with the yield of 3.42 t/ha.
Agrarians of the Republic of Crimea, the Republics of Adygea, Kalmykia and Chechnya, Rostov, Saratov and Volgograd oblasts continued harvesting grains.
Also, the Chechen Republic, the Republics of Adygea and Crimea. Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais started harvesting winter rapeseed. As of the reporting date, Russian agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 23.1 thsd ha (in 2014 – 77.9 thsd ha), and produced 28.7 thsd tonnes of the oilseed (in 2014 – 133.6 thsd tonnes). The average yield totaled 1.24 t/ha (1.72 t/ha).
