In January-June period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 15.494 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 15.2 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 12% compared with the same period of 2014, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on July 6.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 1.696 mln tonnes of grains at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 16.1% compared with January-June of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 6.757 mln tonnes (up 44.9%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 7.04 mln tonnes (down 1.5%).
In addition, the Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny processed 4.112 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 17.3% compared with the same period of 2014.
Also, Nikolayev Sea Trade Port transshipped 3.666 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (up 36.4%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 3.538 mln tonnes (up 31%), Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk – 2.401 mln tonnes (up 18.9%), Oktyabrsk Port – 887.3 thsd tonnes (down 9.5%), Kherson Port – 338.7 thsd tonnes (down 45.3%), Berdyansk Port – 318.6 thsd tonnes (down 20%), Mariupol Port – 108.7 thsd tonnes (down 62.3%), Reni Port – 88.9 thsd tonnes (up 68.6%), and Izmail Port – 24.68 тыс. тонн (up 435%).
