In January-June period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 6.676 mln tonnes of liquid bulk cargoes, including 1.923 mln tonnes of vegetable oils, a decrease of 13.5% compared with the same period in 2014, informed the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on July 6.

In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 52.92 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 40.2% compared with January-June of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 1.437 mln tonnes (up 3.8%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 433.93 thsd tonnes (down 42.1%).

According to the announcement, in the reporting period Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 848.92 thsd tonnes of veg oils, up 10.3% compared with the same period in the previous year. Also, Nikolaev Sea Trade Port shipped 542.55 thsd tonnes of veg oils (down 32.2%), Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhny – 454.81 thsd tonnes (down 12.3%), Mariupol Port – 40.61 thsd tonnes (down 39.5%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 24.6 thsd tonnes (down 21.7%), and Izmail Port - 12.31 thsd tonnes (down 42.4%).
