Russia: NCSP Group increased grain shipment for exports

In January-June of 2015, the volume of grain shipment for exports by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 2.541 mln tonnes, an increase of 1.3 thsd tonnes only compared with the same period last year, declared the press-service of the company on July 16.

According to Sultan Batov, General Director of PJSC NCSP, after some weakening of the export duties rates, the company managed to reach the last year level in terms of grain shipment, even though the general volumes of the grain industry decreased by 5.1%.

Also, in the first 6 months of 2015 NCSP Group decreased vegetable oils shipment by 21.6% - to 147.6 thsd tonnes

The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports – Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea – as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
