As of July 23, the Crimea harvested 914 thsd tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.71 t/ha, declared Vitaly Polishchuk, Minister of Agriculture.
According to him, in the nearest future the general grain harvest will reach 1 mln tonne.
Also, the Minister said that the Crimea has already started preparing the soil for planting of winter crops for the harvest-2016.
As a reminder, as of July 26, 2014, the Crimea harvested 1.1 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight throughout 484.3 thsd ha, or 94.1% of the planned areas, with the average yield of 2.31 t/ha.
