In January-May of 2015, the imports of wheat to Azerbaijan totaled 788.1 thsd tonnes, an increase of 65.7% compared with the same period last year, reported the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to statistics data, the total cost of imported wheat volumes totaled 184.546 mln USD (up 49.2%).
Also, in the reporting period Azerbaijan imported 49.3 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at the sum of 30.272 mln USD (down 33.8%).
