According to the official statistics data, in 2014/15 MY Kazakhstan exported 3.2 mln tonnes of wheat, a decrease of 32% compared the index in the season-2013/14. Thus, in the reporting period the monthly volumes of grain shipments were less by 19-52% compared with the volumes in the previous season, except of June. But in June, the wheat exports exceeded the result for the same month of the previous year by 26% (310 thsd tonnes, as opposed to 246 thsd tonnes).
In the season-2014/15, Uzbekistan (35% of the general export volumes), Tajikistan (25%) and Kyrgyzstan (16%) were the main countries-importers of Kazakh wheat.
