According to the operative data as of August 28, 11 oblasts of Kazakhstan started providing grain harvesting works. Agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 1.487 mln ha, or 10.1% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, the country produced 1.974 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.33 t/ha.
As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 1.357 mln tonnes of grains throughout 1.23 mln ha (8.3%), with the average yield of 1.1 t/ha.
