According to operative data as of September 1, agricultural organizations of Belarus continued harvesting late grains and rapeseed. The harvested volumes reached 8.882 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus.
In particular, agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 5.25 thsd ha (42.3% of the planned areas), and produced 6.54 thsd tonnes of the grain, with the average yield of 1.25 t/ha. Belarus harvested 5.95 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 2.97 thsd ha (56.5%). The average yield totaled 2 t/ha.
Belarus harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 208.9 thsd ha (82.9%). The harvested volumes totaled 420 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 2.01 t/ha. As a reminder, on the same date last year Belarus harvested 847.9 thsd tonnes of rapeseed throughout 380.4 thsd ha (95.3%), with the average yield of 2.23 t/ha.
To date, agricultural organizations plan to plant winter rapeseed for the harvest-2016 throughout 410 thsd ha. Agrarians already planted the oilseed throughout 277.2 thsd ha (71.1%).
Belarusian agrarians prepared the soil for winter crops planting throughout 360.5 thsd ha (28.8%).
