In January-August period of 2015, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 8.154 mln tonnes of liquid bulk cargoes, including 2.423 mln tonnes of vegetable oils, a decrease of 16.5% compared with the same period in 2014, informed the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on September 3.

In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 68.24 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 39.7% compared with January-August of 2014), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 1.828 mln tonnes (down 1.3%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 526.83 thsd tonnes (down 43.8%).

According to the announcement, in the reporting period Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk shipped 1.072 mln tonnes of veg oils, up 9.6% compared with the same period in the previous year. Also, Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port shipped 676.68 thsd tonnes of veg oils (down 37%), Sea Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 558.09 thsd tonnes (down 15.8%), Mariupol Port – 49.36 thsd tonnes (down 46.3%), Odessa Sea Commercial Port – 47.72 thsd tonnes (down 5.2%), and Izmail Port – 18.88 thsd tonnes (down 11.7%).
