As of September 28, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 40.921 mln tonnes of grains and pulses throughout the areas of 11.193 mln ha, or 77% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.66 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukraine harvested corn grain throughout 735 thsd ha (18%), the produced volumes reached 3.302 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.49 t/ha.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout 109 thsd ha (83%). The production volumes totaled 128 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 1.18 t/ha. Also, agrarians harvested 199 thsd tonnes of millet throughout 99 thsd ha (92%), with the yield of 2.01 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued providing the mass harvesting campaign of sunflower seed. As of the reporting date, Ukraine harvested 6.619 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 3.227 mln ha (65%). The average yield totaled 2.05 t/ha.
Ukraine already produced 1.693 mln tonnes of soybeans. The harvested areas reached 985 thsd ha (46%), with the yield of 1.72 t/ha.
As of the reporting date, agricultural producers planted winter grains throughout 3.004 mln ha (41%), including 2.828 mln ha of winter wheat and triticale, 94 thsd ha of winter rye, 83 thsd ha of winter barley. In addition, agrarians planted winter rapeseed throughout 558 thsd ha (68%).
