According to the operative data as of October 6, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 13.361 mln ha, or 90.6% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, North Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 2.961 mln ha (92%), Kostanay oblast – 3.31 mln ha (82%), Akmola oblast – 3.902 mln ha (94.1%).
As of the reporting date, the country produced 16.876 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.26 t/ha.
As a reminder, on the same date last year Kazakhstan harvested 14.29 mln tonnes of grains throughout 11.97 mln ha (80%), with the average yield of 1.19 t/ha.
