According to territorial directorates of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), in the period of October 1-7, 2015, the exports of grain crops and its by-products from Russia totaled 840 thsd tonnes, including 659.9 thsd tonnes of wheat, 2.7 thsd tonnes of barley, 71.9 thsd tonnes of corn, and 105.5 thsd tonnes of other grain products, declared the press-service of the Russian department on October 7.
In the reporting period, the Krasnodar Krai ports provided most export shipment operations of grains and its by-products – 545.8 thsd tonnes, including 471.1 thsd tonnes of wheat, and the Rostov oblast ports – 165.7 thsd tonnes, including 114.5 thsd tonnes of wheat.
Generally, during the first nine months of 2015 Russia exported 24.5 mln tonnes of grains, including 14.6 mln tonnes of wheat.
At the same time, since the beginning of 2015/16 MY (from July 1, 2015) Russia shipped for exports 12.38 mln tonnes of grain products, including 9.37 mln tonnes of wheat (76%).
