Since the beginning of 2015/16 MY (July 1) and as of October 7, the volume of grain exports from Russia totaled 10.819 mln tonnes, a decrease of 18.6% compared with the same period last season (13.299 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on October 12, referring to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
According to the announcement, the wheat volumes formed 8.364 mln tonnes from the reporting export volumes, barley – 1.817 mln tonnes, corn – 566 thsd tonnes, and other grains – 72 thsd tonnes.
