As of October 1, 2015, in Ukraine the production of grains and pulses totaled 42.955 mln tonnes in bunker weight, a decrease of 1.2% compared with the same date last year, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on October 13.
In addition, agrarians harvested 8.539 mln tonnes of sunflower seed (up 3.6%).
Slowing down of the harvesting campaign rates caused the reporting decrease of grain production volumes compared with the same date last year.
