The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine plans to cancel all approval documents which are absent in the European Union, as well as the documents duplicating other regulatory laws, and which cancellation does not threaten the health and safety of the population. The corresponding draft law was published on the website of the Ministry.
The interpretive note to the document specifies that the draft law is designed to improve the positions of Ukraine in the Doing Business rating. It would allow significantly deregulating the country`s business activities. The Ministry will determine certain regulatory instruments for further cancellation in the process of monitoring of the present regulatory system.
In particular, deregulation will cover the sphere of plant quarantine, veterinary medicine, and food safety requirements.
