According to the monitoring data by experts of APK-Inform Agency, in the period of January 11-17, 2016, the export volumes of grains from the Russian sea ports reached 310.2 thsd tonnes. In particular, the wheat shipments totaled 255.4 thsd tonnes, corn – 17.3 thsd tonnes, barley – 31.7 thsd tonnes, and peas — 5.8 thsd tonnes.
At the same time, Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (69.5 thsd tonnes) became the leader of grain exports in the reporting period.
It should be noted that in the reporting period, Sudan (36.5 thsd tonnes), and Nigeria (33 thsd tonnes) were the main countries-importers of Russian grains.
