APK-Inform Agency forecasts in the season-2015/16 Ukraine will export about 14.5 million tonnes of wheat, up 35% from the previous marketing year.
So, since the beginning of the season, Ukraine has already exported 10.5 mln tonnes of wheat against 10.9 mln tonnes for the whole last season. The volume of wheat exported to the MENA region is 3.8 million tonnes.
But the competition in the MENA market is strong as never before. And Ukrainian exporters have to struggle for this market. However, trade facilitation such as less documents as well as active trade from the side of the state operator with the private exporters give all opportunities to Ukrainian companies.
