The planted areas of agricultural crops for the harvest-2016 in all categories of agricultural households in Ukraine are expected to reach 26.7 mln ha, or 100% compared with 2015 results, declared the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Oleksiy Pavlenko on February 8.
The forecast of the planted areas under grain crops totals 14.6 mln ha, or 55% of the areas structure, which corresponds to the standards of the optimum ratio in crop rotation. According to preliminary forecasts, the planted areas of spring grains will reach 7.5 mln ha, including 2.6 mln ha of early spring grains.
