According to APK-Inform Agency, Ukrainian agricultural producers started forming preliminary prices for wheat of the harvest-2016.
Thus, the starting offer prices for wheat in 2016/17 MY vary within the range of 4`000-5`000 UAH/t EXW, depending on qualitative indicators. The wheat prices are formed on cost-based calculations, as well as the USD/UAH exchange rates as of May 5.
We should note that many market participants do not expect for any significant fall of prices due to reduction of the grain harvest volumes. According to APK-Inform analysts, the harvest will reach 21.5 mln tonnes, against 26.5 mln tonnes in the previous year.
