Later in the current year Russia will begin supplying large-scale volumes of wheat to China, declared the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev on May 6.

According to him, China already cancelled all possible restrictions. And in the current year Russia will make the first significant supplies of grains.

The Minister specified that Altai and Krasnoyarsk Krais, Tomsk and Novosibirsk oblasts received the required phytosanitary protocols and permissions for beginning of wheat delivery on the Chinese market. It is a very good potential for the regions, because there is no access to the southern ports for them. Therefore, China and other Asian countries, such as Japan and South Korea, will be the good selling markets for the reporting Siberian regions.
