In 2015/16 MY, the export potential of Ukrainian grains is estimated at 39.87 mln tonnes, including 15.16 mln tonnes of wheat, 4.3 mln tonnes of barley, and 19.5 mln tonnes of corn, informed the balance sheets of NGO "Economic discussion club", supported by the Interdepartmental working group under the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine.
According to operative data of the customs statistics, since the beginning of 2015/16 MY and as of May 1, Ukraine supplied 34.616 mln tonnes of grains on foreign markets.
In particular, the export volumes of wheat reached 14.6 mln tonnes, barley – 4.25 mln tonnes, corn – 15.48 mln tonnes, oats – 38 thsd tonnes, rye – 14 thsd tonnes, rice – 1 thsd tonnes, and other grains – 225 thsd tonnes.
