During four months of the current year, Ukraine supplied agricultural products to the European Union at the sum of nearly 1.5 bln USD, and to Asia - more than 2 bln USD, declared the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration, Vladyslava Rutytska on June 22.

Also, she specified that in the reporting period, Ukraine showed the largest fall of export supplies in the direction of Russia. During four months of 2016, the exports of agricultural products to Russia decreased by 96% in monetary terms compared with the same period of 2013. For comparison: the exports to Belarus and Kazakhstan decreased by nearly 45%. According to V.Rutytska, despite the political pressure, problems with transit and geo-economic problems, Ukraine managed to create the required conditions for construction of mutually beneficial relations with Minsk and Astana.

At the same time, she informed that in the reporting period Ukraine exported agricultural products to the Eurasian Union at the sum of 209 mln USD. But in the same period of 2013, Ukraine supplied agricultural products to the Customs Union countries (minus Kyrgyzstan and Armenia) at nearly 1 bln USD. Therefore, the index decreased in almost 5 times, explained V.Rutytska.
