Ukraine: in January-June, the sea ports increased grain cargoes shipments - Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority

In January-June of 2016, the Ukrainian sea ports processed 16.561 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 16.245 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 7% compared with the same period of 2015, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 863.02 thsd tonnes of grains at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (down 41.9% compared with January-June of 2015), private stevedoring companies at the berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 9.302 mln tonnes (up 37.7%), and stevedoring companies at their own berths – 6.276 mln tonnes (down 10.7%).

In addition, Mykolaiv Sea Trade Port processed 4.08 mln tonnes of grain cargoes, up 11.2% compared with the same index in 2015.

Also, Odessa Sea Commercial Port transshipped 3.861 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (up 9.2%), Commercial Port of Yuzhnyi – 3.381 mln tonnes (down 17.5%), Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk – 3.14 mln tonnes (up 30.8%), Oktiabrsk Port – 728.21 thsd tonnes (down 17.9%), Kherson Port – 548.69 thsd tonnes (up 63.6%), Berdiansk Port – 395.5 thsd tonnes (up 24.1%), Mariupol Port – 296.19 thsd tonnes (up 172.4%), Reni Port – 90.69 thsd tonnes (up 1.9%), and Izmail Port – 24.87 thsd tonnes (up 0.8%).
