As of July 14, agrarians harvested 10.575 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 3.024 mln ha, or 32% of the plan (9.4 mln ha, according to estimations). The average yield totaled 3.5 t/ha. At the same time, on the same date in 2015 agrarians harvested 8.663 mln tonnes of grains throughout 2.759 mln ha, with the yield of 3.14 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested wheat throughout 1.502 mln ha (25%). The production volumes totaled 5.615 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.74 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 4.538 mln tonnes of barley throughout 1.383 mln ha (50%), with the yield of 3.28 t/ha.
Also, peas production volumes reached 415 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 3.09 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 135 thsd ha (58%).
It is reported that agrarians of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts started harvesting rye. Also, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts began harvesting oats.
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 474 thsd tonnes of the oilseed throughout 188 thsd ha (34%), with the average yield of 2.52 t/ha.
