As of July 18, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the areas of 6.3 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 5.5 mln ha), or 13.4% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 26.5 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 4.18 t/ha (in 2015 – 20.1 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.69 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, in the Southern Federal District agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout 3.5 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 15.9 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 4.55 t/ha.

The North Caucasian District harvested 6.5 mln tonnes of grains throughout 1.6 mln ha. The yield totaled 4.18 t/ha.

The Republic of Crimea harvested 1.2 mln tonnes of grains throughout 406.2 thsd ha, with the yield at 2.84 t/ha.

Also, the Central District harvested 1.6 mln tonnes of grains throughout 388.1 thsd ha, with the yield at 4.18 t/ha.

At the same time, agrarians of the Volga District harvested grain crops throughout 470.7 thsd ha, and produced 1.3 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield reached 2.69 t/ha.

Generally, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat in the country throughout 4.7 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 20.5 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.32 t/ha.

Russia harvested 3 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 774.2 thsd ha. The average yield totaled 3.83 t/ha.

Also, Russia harvested winter rapeseed throughout 48.7 thsd ha, and produced 95 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.95 t/ha.
