As of July 1, 2016, the registered carry-over stocks of oilseeds in Kazakhstan totaled 260.465 thsd tonnes, including 21.298 thsd tonnes in farming households, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In particular, sunflower seed stocks totaled 104 thsd tonnes, flaxseed – 84.3 thsd tonnes, soybeans – 30.821 thsd tonnes, rapeseed – nearly 29 thsd tonnes, mustard seed – 7.463 thsd tonnes, safflower seed – 3.977 thsd tonnes, and camelina seed – 332.6 tonnes.
