As of July 29, agrarians harvested nearly 29 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 7.6 mln ha, or 79% of the plan (9.6 mln ha, according to estimations). The average yield totaled 3.79 t/ha, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date Ukraine harvested wheat throughout 4.9 mln ha (78%). The production volumes totaled 19.9 mln tonnes, with the yield of 4.08 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested 8.2 mln tonnes of barley throughout 2.5 mln ha (86%), with the yield of 3.31 t/ha.
According to the announcement, Ukraine harvested 153 thsd tonnes of rye throughout 60 thsd ha (42%). The average yield totaled 2.57 t/ha. Agrarians harvested oats throughout 31 thsd ha (15%). The production volumes totaled 78 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.53 t/ha.
Also, peas production volumes reached 705 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 3.17 t/ha. The harvested areas totaled 223 thsd ha (93%).
As for winter rapeseed, agrarians harvested 1 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 395 thsd ha (87%), with the average yield of 2.62 t/ha.
Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts already completed harvesting early grains. In the nearest days, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Chernivtsi oblasts will also complete the harvesting campaign of early grains.
