Since the beginning of 2016, the exports of food products of Ukrainian origin to the European Union countries rose by 68%, while the general exports to the EU - up 7%, declared the First Vice-Prime-Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Stepan Kubiv on August 10.

According to him, Ukrainian companies-producers actively use trade preferences within frames of trade between Ukraine and the EU, and continue exporting commodities even out of the range of the current tariff quotas. As of late July, Ukraine completely used nine tariff quotas for agricultural products, including the quota for poultry meat. The quota for butter and dairy pastes was used at 46%, and powdered milk - 30%.

Also, S.Kubiv noted that Ukrainian exporters received nearly 30 thsd certificates EUR.1 for registration of commodities exports from Ukraine in accordance to the EU standards, and 86 companies received the status of approved exporters, which entitled them to export products to the EU without any certificates.
