The Government of Russia made a decision to reduce the export customs tariffs on sunflower seed supplied from the territory of Russia outside the member states of the Customs Union. The Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev signed the corresponding decree #797 on August 15, 2016, announced the government press-service on August 19.
The reporting decree covers the legal relations arising on or after September 1, 2016.
Since September 1, the tariffs for crushed or whole sunflower seed, husked, for planting works, and others, will reach 6.5% of the customs value, but not less than 9.75 EUR per tonne. Previously, the tariff totaled 9.88% of the customs value, but not less than 14.81 EUR per tonne.
