In 2015/16 MY, Kazakhstan exported 86 thsd tonnes of grains to Azerbaijan, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 14.
According to the announcement, Azerbaijan remains one of the traditional export markets for Kazakh grains. Also, during several recent years Azerbaijan reduced purchases of Kazakh grains, due to increasing of domestic production volumes.
Kazakhstan is one of the largest grain producers in the world. In 2015, the country harvested 18.7 mln tonnes of grains and pulses in clean weight, up 8.8% compared with 2014.
