According to regional agricultural departments, as of September 15 Kazakh agrarians harvested grains throughout 9.667 mln ha, or 63% of the planned areas, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As of the reporting date, agrarians produced 14.376 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of over 2 times compared with the same date last year (7.081 mln tonnes). The average yield totaled 1.49 t/ha (up 0.39 t/ha).
In particular, agrarians of Almaty oblast harvested 703.5 thsd tonnes of grains, West Kazakhstan oblast — 317.4 thsd tonnes, Jambyl oblast — 591.7 thsd tonnes, Kyzylorda oblast — 148.4 thsd tonnes, South Kazakhstan oblast — 564.4 thsd tonnes, North Kazakhstan oblast – 3.717 mln tonnes, East Kazakhstan oblast — 756.4 thsd tonnes, Pavlodar oblast – 524.1 thsd tonnes, Aktobe oblast – 242.6 thsd tonnes, Karaganda oblast — 632.1 thsd tonnes, Kostanay oblast — 3.035 mln tonnes, and Akmola oblast – 3.142 mln tonnes.
