As of September 19, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 39.7 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 35.4 mln ha), or 83.9% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 105.5 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.66 t/ha (in 2015 – 87.2 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.46 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 24.8 mln ha (89.7% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 72 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.9 t/ha.
Russia harvested 18.3 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.8 mln ha (92.9%). The average yield totaled 2.36 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 406.7 thsd ha (14.1%), and produced 2.1 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.25 t/ha.
Russia harvested 213.8 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 34 thsd ha (16.5%). The average yield totaled 6.3 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 2 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 943.6 thsd ha (12.6%). The average yield totaled 2.13 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 576.2 thsd ha (57.9%), and produced 753.7 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.31 t/ha.
Also, agrarians started harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 373.2 thsd ha (17.1%), the produced volumes – 703.9 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.89 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 38.4 thsd ha only, or 79.7% of the planted areas.
As of September 19, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 9.4 mln ha, or 54.3% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 9 mln ha).
