As of September 22, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 40.6 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 36.6 mln ha), or 86% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 107.5 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.66 t/ha (in 2015 – 89.5 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.45 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 25.5 mln ha (91.9% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 73 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.87 t/ha.
Russia harvested 18.4 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 7.8 mln ha (93.7%). The average yield totaled 2.36 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 512.1 thsd ha (17.7%), and produced 2.7 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.28 t/ha.
Russia harvested 286.4 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 45.4 thsd ha (22%). The average yield totaled 6.31 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 2.5 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 1.2 mln ha (12.6%). The average yield totaled 2.06 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 631.5 thsd ha (63.5%), and produced 819.4 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.3 t/ha.
Also, agrarians started harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 497.2 thsd ha (22.8%), the produced volumes – 971.6 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 1.95 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 39.9 thsd ha only, or 82.9% of the planted areas.
As of September 22, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 10.3 mln ha, or 59.1% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 9.8 mln ha).
