The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine agreed with grain exporters the annex to the Memorandum of understanding for 2016/17 MY. The parties will sign the document in the nearest future.
According to the annex to the document (revised on September 22), the forecasted export volumes of wheat and meslin mixture in the current season total 16.5 mln tonnes, including 10.1 mln tonnes of milling grains (1-5 grades) and 6.4 mln tonnes of non-milling grains (6-grade and non-grade). The approximate volumes of rye exports total 1 thsd tonnes, and barley - 5.6 mln tonnes.
It should be noted that according to the forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the general volumes of grain exports in the current MY will reach 40.241 mln tonnes.
