As of September 29, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 42.4 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 38.8 mln ha), or 89.8% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 110.7 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.61 t/ha (in 2015 – 94.1 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.42 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 26.6 mln ha (96.1% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 74.7 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.81 t/ha.
Russia harvested 18.7 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8 mln ha (95.6%). The average yield totaled 2.34 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 620.6 thsd ha (21.5%), and produced 3.2 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.23 t/ha.
Russia harvested 291.2 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 46.4 thsd ha (22.5%). The average yield totaled 6.28 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 3.1 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout 1.6 mln ha (21.9%). The average yield totaled 1.87 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 749.5 thsd ha (75.3%), and produced 938.9 thsd tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.25 t/ha.
Also, agrarians started harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 568.3 thsd ha (26%), the produced volumes – 1.1 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.95 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 42.1 thsd ha only, or 87.3% of the planted areas.
As of September 29, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 11.2 mln ha, or 64.5% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 11.4 mln ha).
