As of October 10, Russian agrarians continued harvesting grains and pulses. Agrarians harvested grain crops throughout the general areas of 43.5 mln ha (on the same date in 2015 — 41.7 mln ha), or 92.1% of the planned areas (47.3 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 113.8 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 2.61 t/ha (in 2015 – 100 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.4 t/ha), reported the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 27 mln ha (97.6% of the plan). The produced volumes reached 75.5 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.79 t/ha.
Russia harvested 19 mln tonnes of winter and spring barley throughout 8.1 mln ha (96.7%). The average yield totaled 2.35 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested corn for grain throughout 909.8 thsd ha (31.4%), and produced 4.9 mln tonnes of the grain, with the average yield at 5.37 t/ha.
Russia harvested 387.4 thsd tonnes of rice throughout 62.4 thsd ha (30.3%). The average yield totaled 6.21 t/ha.
Russian agrarians continued the sunflower seed harvesting campaign. Agrarians harvested 5.3 mln tonnes of the oilseed throughout over 3 mln ha (40.5%). The average yield totaled 1.74 t/ha.
Also, Russia harvested rapeseed throughout 833.5 thsd ha (83.8%), and produced over 1 mln tonnes of the oilseed, with the average yield of 1.23 t/ha.
Also, agrarians continued harvesting soybeans: the harvested areas reached 766.8 thsd ha (35.1%), the produced volumes – 1.4 mln tonnes, the average yield – 1.88 t/ha.
Russia harvested flaxseed throughout 44.9 thsd ha only, or 93.2% of the planted areas.
As of October 10, Russian agrarians planted winter crops for the harvest-2017 throughout 13.8 mln ha, or 79.6% of the planned areas (in 2015 — 14.4 mln ha).
